LAP-BAND® and REALIZE® Band surgery requires an on-going relationship with the surgeon and the team in order to maximize success. Weight loss surgery helps with the "eating less" part, but that is only the first step. Ninety-nine percent of a patient's success comes from the post-operative support that the surgeon offers.

Support Group is designed primarily for patients who have already undergone Gastric Banding. It is a forum where patients participate in sharing experiences, gaining encouragement, and exchanging advice on their new lifestyles, in a relaxed, safe, and non-judgmental environment.
